Star Gold

Description

There is a continuous demand for this rope which has proved to retain its luster for years aboard the many boats which have used it. Even though it mantains its classic double braid construction, Star Gold is constantly updated in its structure and colours. The most widely used rope on all vintage boats. Thanks to the balanced double braid construction it remains supple, manageable and resistant to flexion and abrasion. The prestretch treatment significantly reduces elongation and improves the breaking load, making it also suitable for halyards, topping lifts and tackles. All this makes Star Gold the ideal rope for splicing on snap shackles, blocks, thimbles and other accessories.

Use

For vintage boats and maxi sail yachts.
Halyards, sheets, topping lifts, tackles and control lines on Classic cruising boats.
In large diameters it is ideal for Classic maxi sail yachts.

Description

Rope for fenders: good knot retention, supple and resistant. Excellent, practical and fast solution to splicing on fenders, guaranteeing the necessary security but also pleasing to the eye.
